Women In Distress Auxiliary (WIDA) is a fundraising auxiliary of Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. whose mission is to raise funds to support Women In Distress and to help us fulfill our mission to Stop Abuse For Everyone (SAFE) through education, intervention, and advocacy. WIDA promotes awareness and provides financial support through fund raising events such as their annual gala and membership functions throughout the year.

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Rick Case Automotive Group with a special fundraising event benefiting 20 local charities, including Women In Distress. With the entire party being funded by Rita and Rick Case, 100% of every donation will go directly to the specified charity. About Us

WIDA was founded in 2004 and has since raised over $383,000 for Women In Distress. With loyalty, friendship and dedication, the WIDA Board and members have raised funds through a variety of events including an annual gala in October, semi-annual membership drives, an annual Bazaar and monthly social mixers. Funds raised through WIDA events go directly toward assisting victims of domestic violence who have found shelter and peace at Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc.
