Benefitting Women In Distress & The SunSentinel Children’s Fund, A McCormick Foundation Fund
For the second consecutive year, Women In Distress and All In Free Poker set out to raise awareness about Domestic Violence in the Poker Community and show how poker can be a positive force for good. Bryan Oulton, owner of All In Free Poker, has become a strong advocate for victims of domestic violence after his mother was killed by his father three years ago. Along with his business partner, Sandy Swartzbaugh, Bryan brought together Isle Casino, Women In Distress, and the Sun Sentinel Children’s Fund to create the PermaPlate Poker Tournament, with the aim of making the evening, not only an annual fundraiser for these two charities, but also a new way to engage the poker community in ending domestic violence. The event has grossed $70,025 over the past two years.
